Our Italian Courses

The Sprachcaffe language school is in Santa Domenica inside an idyllic orange tree orchard. The distance between the beach and the school is only a few hundred metres.

Sprachcaffe Calabria offers 5 different courses:

• Holiday Course
• Standard Course
• Intensive Course
• Individual Course
• Cooking Course

Holiday Course

A holiday course consists of two lessons a day (45 minutes each), five days a week. If holidays are more important to you than the course, this is the right choice.

Standard Course(4 lessons a day; 45 minutes each, 5 days a week).
Standard Course is the ideal compromise between courses and holidays. Your progress is guaranteed by four lessons a day, but you do not have to give up your holidays. In the afternoon and in the evening, you have enough time left to relax. This course is at least 2 weeks long.

Intensive Course(6 lessons a day; 45 minutes each, 5 days a week).
The Intensive Course enables you to intensively deal with the Italian language. Of course, you will still have some time left to enjoy your holidays. Based on the Standard Course, the students of Intensive Course have their lessons together with the participants from Standard Course. In the afternoon, they attend another two lessons of Intensive Course.

Individual Course
Our one-to-one course is the fastest and most intensive way to learn Italian. Your lessons will be adjusted to your individual needs. You can choose whether to have two, four or six lessons a day.

Cooking Course
You will cook Pasta al forno, Lasagne, Pasta bianca with vegetables and sea fruits or menus that are typical for the Calabrian region. You will prepare a complete menu every day. The Cooking Courses are guided by Calabrian natives.

Skill levels
A language aptitude test will show your knowledge of the Italian language. The participants are then divided into three different groups according to their skill level: basic level, intermediate level and advanced level. This method guarantees that the courses meet everyone's expectations.

Certificate
You will receive a certificate from the school at the end of your stay in Calabria.
